FAQ
How does the first consultation work?

The first meeting aims to frame the matter presented in legal terms.

It is devoted to listening, a preliminary review of the documents and an assessment of the possible scenarios.

It is a technical, confidential and structured meeting, useful for deciding whether and how to proceed.

It can take place:

– in the office, at one of our locations;

– remotely, by video conference;

– by telephone, for particular cases or specific urgent matters.

How long does the consultation last?

About 60 minutes (30–45 minutes by telephone).

Is the online consultation free of charge?

No. The first consultation is a professional service in every respect – review of the documents, legal assessment, evaluation of scenarios – and as such is subject to a fee.

.

What is the difference between a consultation and an engagement?

The consultation provides technical and legal guidance. Any professional engagement to handle a matter involves different timescales and costs. The consultation does not cover the full handling of a matter, nor can it exhaust complex work that requires further analysis.

How quickly will I receive a reply after sending the contact form?

Except in particularly urgent situations, you will receive a reply within 24 working hours. Any documents sent are dealt with in order of priority, according to their complexity and current workload.

You will receive a confirmation of the appointment with the date, time and format chosen.

Do I need to bring documents to the first meeting?

It is advisable to attach or bring the main documents, so that a more accurate analysis can be made.

Can the cost be deducted if I give you the engagement?

Yes, the cost of the consultation may be treated as a payment on account if you subsequently give a formal engagement.

Does the cost of the first consultation include drafting documents or letters?

No. The consultation covers only the initial analysis and technical discussion. Any documents (e.g. formal notices, written replies, opinions) will be quoted separately and require a formal engagement.

Does the Firm accept matters from outside the province or remotely?

Yes. The Firm handles matters from all over Italy. Consultation and case management can take place entirely remotely, with any documents drafted, sent and signed digitally.

How does the online consultation work?

Through a secure video-conferencing platform, with no special installation needed. Instructions are sent with the confirmation.

What the consultation is not

It is not the full handling of a matter, nor can it exhaust complex work that requires further analysis.

How is payment made?

Nothing is paid when you request a booking. The fee and payment details are confirmed in writing with the appointment, and the fee is paid once the consultation has taken place.

What happens after the consultation?

At the end you will receive clear guidance on the next steps, with the option of considering an ongoing engagement.

How is the engagement formalised after the consultation?

If you decide to proceed, a written quote will be prepared, specifying the work to be done, its duration and the financial terms.

A professional engagement for legal advice, assistance or support begins only after formal acceptance.

Is the information I provide confidential?

Yes. All data and information shared are treated with professional confidentiality and in compliance with the GDPR.
